It tastes like orange soda their favorite so they go and chug down the second one too. Half an hour later they are bouncing off the walls. Flash, one of Sally's pups now working as a sheepdog and Rab and Fly, selected to be re-homed as a pair so they could use their qualities to help each other overcome the problems that caused them to end up in rescue care. The Border Collie is designed to be a sheepdog and was originally used for herding livestock in the English and Scottish Borders. Border Collie Rescue assesses all dogs coming into our care for herding ability and will rehome them as stockdogs if that is what they need to do but we also assess and rehome for scent discrimination skills to the Police, Prison Service and Excise to detect drugs, explosives and firearms -- to SARDA and other rescue organisations for mountain rescue and search and rescue work -- to help deaf, blind or otherwise disabled people as well as for working trials, flyball, agility, obedience and other interactive sporting disciplines and many of our dogs have qualified for Crufts in these disciplines. *Nicks P.O.V* It was really weird having Miley around, especially after what happened earlier today. The weirdest thing was that, the more I talked to Miles, the more I started to like her again. I forgot about how amazing her eyes were, and how they sparkle in the right light. Or that she can't go 3 seconds without smiling. But there was a downside. Every time she said something funny and I laughed, I could feel daggers being shot through me, by Kevin and Joe. I knew they were mad, but I didn't really care. After a while, I glanced at the clock to see what time it was. "Oh my gosh," I said. "What is it Nicky?" Miley asked me. "Its 11 oclock!" "No dip Sherlock..." Joe said in a boring, mono-tone voice. I glared at him and looked back at Miley. "Sorry Miles, but you gotta get home," I said helping her off the couch. "That's totally fine baby. Let's hang out tomorrow ok?" she said with that cute, pleading voice. And the puppy dog pout didnt help either. I looked over at Joe and he gave me the 'don't you dare' look. "Um..." I said looking back and forth from Miley to my brothers. "Sure... totally." "Awesome! I'll see you then!" she said. Before she walked out the door, she gave me a quick peck on the cheek. I stood there in a daze, with a dopey smile on my face, as I watched her leave. I turned around and came face to face with Joe and Kevin who looked like they were going to kill me. "So..." I said very uneasy. "So?" Joe asked. "That's all you have to say?" "What is the matter with you Nick?" Kevin asked me. "I don't know, I just-" "Exactly, you don't know. Nick, she's the enemy! This morning, you were gushing about Ashley and now its like shes a figment of the past. If you date Miley, and just forget about Ashley, you will be making the biggest mistake of your life," Kevin said. "Miley changed, she's different!" "Whatever Nick. If you dont fix things with Ashley, I swear I will disown you as a brother," Joe said to me. "There's nothing too fix!" "Bull crap Nick. When she left and you COMPLETELY ignored her, she looked so hurt. Oh yes, nothing to fix," Joe said getting off his stool. "When you decided to grow up, talk to me." With that, he left the room.
